A vintage year for UCS MOCs?

UCS Executor, by Jedi Micky, MOCpages

I get the feeling that 2014 could be a good year for amazing MOCs; it was only a couple of weeks ago that EB member Foxhound posted some images of his 13 foot long LDD Executor, and I’ve just found this on MOCpages by Jedi Mickey

I was very impressed by his earlier version which was sadly destroyed during transportation, but it’s now rebuilt as a bigger and better model.  It’s almost 2.2 metres long, or over 7 feet, and comprises around 40,000 elements!  The level of detail in the rear of the ship is amazing, and the red glow of the engines is beautiful.  I’m a great fan of LEDs but, if I’m being critical, I feel that there’s too many used overall which creates excessive light in the central ‘city’ section and detracts slightly from the model.
