Coruscant: the entire planet is one big city.

KW Vauban makes another appearance on our blog, with his Micro-scale Coruscant. He’s done everything based on lighter greys, which I think worked out well. It doesn’t have that almost golden gleam to it as Coruscant is often portrayed as having, but I think it comes as close to an accurate color as possible using common colors while keeping everything close enough in color that they blend together into the distinctive cityscape. Don’t think that that means the diorama just looks like one generic bit of city-covered planet, though. KW Vauban has included a number of recognizable buildings, such as the domed Republic Executive Building in the foreground, the Senate Building behind it, the 500 Republica in the middle to the left of that, and the Jedi Temple in the background on the right.
