Brick-built Silhouettes by David Alexander Smith

It started back in February with Luke and Vader (Lightsaber Duel), continued with Darth Maul, and last week David Alexander Smith posted his third brick-built silhouette, of Princess Leia. I love the style of what appear to be simple LEGO shapes, although if you look more closely you’ll see a good amount of the more complicated SNOT work to get the right shapes and angles. With Luke and Maul, characters in positions that would not be easily identifiable, the builder’s also added some bright colors in seemingly similarly simple shapes (alliteration completely unintentional), for an excellent contrast.
